Your contributions are welcome and will make uemis DiveWorld an exciting professional platform for divers from all over the world – in the interest of all members. And if you appreciate the features of uemis DiveWorld, tell your friends about this site! We appreciate your support.

Important information for companies and organizations

After they have registered, companies and organizations are expected to submit an additional entry in their category (via the DiveWorld page) so that they will appear on the world map with the appropriate pictogram and become searchable.

Registration

By registering, you confirm that you have read and agree with the General Terms and Conditions. uemis DiveWorld pledges to treat personal data with particular care. Please read our Privacy Policy for details.

Important information for divers

Information provided on this website should never be the sole source of a dive-related decision-making process. The articles on this website are published candidly and without direct editorial intervention or supervision. Even if nearly all members are divers, contributions may be incorrect and in the worst case might contain dangerous recommendations.

Latitude/Logitude

Possible input format:

  • Dezimal: 8.57264
  • GPS: E 8° 34.60'

Map

Move the red symbol more or less to the correct spot on the world map.
Drag the map in position to center the red symbol in the window.
Zoom the map. Repeat this, until you can move the symbol precisely to the desired position.

Find Adress

Write the address in the filed and click "Find Address".
If the address is not found or the position is not precise enough, please use the map.

Username

Username is required to access the account. Not visible to other community-members.

Password

Password consists of 6 characters.

E-mail address

Valid E-mail address is compulsory. An activation E-mail will be sent to this address. Messages from other members will also be sent to this address. E-mail address is only visible to other members, if this option is selected in the profile.

Nickname

Nickname is visible, if the real name should not be published.

Visibility of the name

Selection defines, whether real name or nickname is visible.

Important information for companies and organizations

Companies and organizations must make an additional entry in their category (Dive- or Emergency Facility, Accomodation, Service) (in the uemis DiveWorld section), so that these appear then with the right pictogram on the world map and are discoverable.

Signature

Short description (person, company or organisation).
